RACINE COUNTY, WI – One person was killed in a rollover crash involving a box truck north of Kaukauna yesterday afternoon, according to information reported by TMJ4 News.
The crash happened at about 3:48 p.m. near the intersection of Plank Road (County Highway A) and County Highway J (County Highway N) when the driver of a 22-foot box truck allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle then collided with a Chevrolet sedan, causing at least one of the vehicles to overturn.
The impact sent the box truck into the ditch and resulted in severe damage to the front of the sedan.
The person driving the Chevrolet, a 41-year-old Burlington woman, died at the scene.
The truck driver, a 50-year-old Chicago man, sustained non-critical injuries in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
