Police respond to car vs. pole collision on Shawano Ave

GREEN BAY, WI – Traffic was impacted, and roads were closed in the wake of a car accident on Shawano Avenue in Green Bay this weekend, according to information from the Green Bay Police Department.

The collision happened at around 3:54 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of Shawano Ave, near Oneida Street and Ridge Road, when a driver collided with a power pole.

The roadway was closed for around 6 hours as authorities worked the scene.

It is unclear at this point what led to the crash or if anyone was injured.
