Narrative
SOLON SPRINGS, WI – A rollover crash claimed the life of a 24-year-old man near Solon Springs on Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred on Highway 35 in Douglas County, prompting a response from the Wisconsin State Patrol.
Preliminary investigations reveal that the driver swerved in an attempt to avoid an object on the road. This maneuver resulted in the driver losing control of the vehicle, leading to the rollover.
Troopers discovered one of the back-seat passengers had been ejected from the vehicle during the rollover. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene a short time later. One other passenger was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver and a forth occupant were unhurt.
