Car, pedestrian crash in West Allis puts 18-year-old man in hospital

WEST ALLIS, WI – A collision at South 108th Street and West Lincoln Avenue left an 18-year-old with life-threatening injuries Tuesday morning.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel said the car and pedestrian crash happened around 6:15 am. A vehicle struck an 18-year-old man who crossed the street before the traffic signal gave him the green light.

Police did not release the pedestrian or driver’s name. However, they did say the driver, a 57-year-old woman, stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The 18-year-old was hospitalized in critical condition.

Under this ongoing investigation, police do not believe speeding and alcohol were factors in Tuesday’s crash.
