Narrative
PLAINFIELD, WI – Two drivers and a dog died late Sunday afternoon in a head-on collision at a busy intersection in Plainfield.
The crash occurred just after 4 p.m. at the intersection of WI-73, or East North Street, and County Highway BB, or Aniwa Road.
The investigation thus far indicates that a southbound driver crossed the center line and collided head-on with a northbound vehicle on WI-73. Authorities declared both drivers deceased at the scene.
Medics transported one passenger to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
One of two canine passengers also died in the accident.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
