One teen injured, another dead from solo-car crash in Calumet County

CALUMET COUNTY, WI – A Thursday single-vehicle crash on Lemke Road in Calumet County left a 16-year-old girl dead and a 17-year-old boy injured.

The collision happened before 8 pm, according to WBAY. Due to speeding, the 16-year-old girl lost control of the steering wheel, which caused the car to travel off course and slam into a tree.

Drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
